I draw all the field studies on site. My timing generally ranges between 2 minutes and 5. These are done all with conte crayon, a favorite among sketchers throughout art history. Many of the drawings on my site also use pen and charcoal pencil. Thanks for the compliment. I often base longer major works off of these sketches back in the studio.
